Apology and All That's New.

First, I'd like to apologize for the recent lack of posts. You see, a few weeks ago life showed up at the door, and I've been busy ever since. However, my time is finally freeing up, so you can expect awesome posts coming your way anytime now.

Here's what the team and I have in store for you:

A review of "The Social Network." (It's better than you think--trust me.)

A review of "The Town." (It's also probably better than you think.)

And for all of you writers out there: how do you keep writing fresh dialogue page after page after page?

Write in between the lines.

Sound confusing? Good. That means I can write an entire post about it.

Now, make the best out of this absence of new posts and go read the old ones. Didn't you know they're all works of literature with multiple layers of meaning? 

Okay, fine. They're all simple and straight forward. But still, enjoy your time on the blog.

David Farland's Writers' Groups

Want to be in a writing group? It's a supportive community of writers who provide each other with both critiques and inspiration. Something that every writer, at any level, needs.

David Farland's Writers' Groups is a site inspired by the great David Farland himself--A wizard of story telling whose magic has conjured up a great many books over the years.  If you've read fantasy and don't know about his The Runelords series, then its time for you to get educated.

And while you're busy studying, think about joining a writing group online. If you're a writer, it will give you a place to learn about your craft and receive personalized feedback--all for free. (At least in the site that I'm directing you to.)

So if you're looking to join a writing group, or maybe even to start your own, think about online groups-- think real hard. Think about joining David Farland's Writers' Groups.

Introduction... Again

So you’ve already read one introduction, now why the hell would you read one more? I’ll tell you why. Because the level of awesomeness is about to increase.

Introduction

My names Dmytry. I like books, woman, and fast cars. What else do you need to know?

Except the fact that I'm starting this blog...this over the top awesome blog which will focus on any aspect of writing I could conjure...in the hopes of helping writers and readers alike.

How? Well of course you would ask that wouldn't you, so I'll tell you.

I'll be posting tons of book reviews, talking about movies, and throwing around tips on the craft of writing...daily.

That's right, daily. For this site is called Writing Wars, and its goal is to help soldiers (writers,) in their constant battles against the enemy (rejection letters), until they are all victorious (published).

Moving on...

Writing Wars is a fun site, trying to make the lives of writers, just a little better. Right now I have a bunch of articles and reviews written, soon to be posted. Soon to be very helpful.
